Sandulela Technology, the Cape Town-based wholesaler of prepaid electricity has been awarded the Ekurhuleni Municipality contract as one of its point of sale service providers for prepaid electricity vending services to third parties.

Ekurhuleni Municipality includes 340,000 prepaid meters that consumes roughly R200 Million in prepaid electricity sales per month. Ekurhuleni is the 2^nd largest metropolitan in prepaid electricity in South Africa, with Cape Town being the largest with 580,000 prepaid customers.
